About Dr Nick

Dr. Nick Krasner is a respected medical doctor, an acclaimed author and an in-demand expert on mental health issues. Dr. Krasner is a Podcaster in Australia with Podcast One, has appeared widely in the media: including Sky Sports and BBC News in the UK; he is a columnist for US Magazine - Everyday Health, has a regular slot on JNET Radio’s sports programme.  

"As a Doctor, I have served as a useful source to those seeking inspiration, help, or advice. I finally decided to own that role and be intentional about it. I started writing about my passions, my thoughts, and curious wonderings about our world. I founded The Psychological Surgeon with a mission to give others a taste of what goes on in my mind, and I have been at it ever since".

Having qualified in 1992, Dr. Krasner gained a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine from University College London, where he has since lectured, and has treated patients around the world, from Australia to the USA. He is a Fellow of the RACGP. As a doctor or sports psychologist he has worked with football teams including Tottenham Hotspur and with leading British tennis players.

Dr Krasner is the author of The Depression Doctor: 10 Simple Paths to Happiness — his transformational method of understanding, diagnosing and treating depression, based on twenty years of clinical — and personal — experience. The book represents a bold step forward in medical thinking and an invaluable guide to those suffering from depression.
